The Azores are vibrant colours that make your eyes flutter. They are a cozy environment in their wildest state. They are a stage for the traditions and courage of those who had to work basalt to survive and today call it culture. The Azores are volcanic islands, oceanic islands. Habitat for many species. They are a unique place in Europe that deserves to be treated in a special way. They are irreplaceable to those who live here and indifferent to those who pass through. Those who have seen them won’t forget them, those who have experienced them will want to do so again
Nature runs through the veins of these islands made of land and sea
FULL DAY TOUR
Taking a full-day tour around the island means experiencing the daily lives of the local people. You’ll get a general idea of how the islanders live, what they eat, what they do, and when. All this while passing by the island’s most iconic sites. These places tell us about more natural aspects such as the ecology and diversity of the species that live here, the geological features that have influenced the island’s landscapes, and the history that has been traveled to get to what Faial is today. Don’t think that this tour is just for tourists, as the Faialenses themselves are in the habit of going “around the island” on what we call a Sunday stroll.
For travelers who plan two programs a day or prefer half the day free, this tour is for you. In the first few minutes, we’ll try to get a very subtle idea of our guests’ main points of interest, as four hours doesn’t allow us to do everything. From then on, with the plan already mapped out, we’ll choose the best way to experience the best the island has to offer.
The ideal option for those just passing through the island. Don’t wait for your next plane at the airport or your boat in town. Challenge us to a lightning tour through short stories & quick stops at Faial’s most emblematic sites, in record time (but always safely). If you feel like it, try to bring a notepad with you so you can “digest” the information later. The quick tour is tailor-made according to the time you have available and your points of interest.
PICO ISLAND TOUR
If you’ve only planned to visit the island of Faial, but still have a day to spare, we highly recommend you take the boat, cross the channel, and experience the wonders that the island of Pico has to offer. Honestly, just one day isn’t enough to explore everything, but we’ll accompany you to the best places so that you get the best possible impression of the archipelago’s youngest island, which… to put it mildly… is just too beautiful!
